Marucci Prospects 2025-26 Season Information
Important information
Season will begin mid-August 2025 and run to July 2026 (First practice will be mid-August)

Philosophy
9U to 12U: Development-based focus with an emphasis on competition, mental approach, skills building, and IQ.
13U to 14U: High School Development with a focus on preparation for players’ HS tryouts.
15U and above: Refining High School development and College preparation.
Training Outline
NOTE: This is just an outline and does not offer specifics or details.
40+ Training Weeks broken into quarters:
Quarter 1 Training
Mid-Aug through Sep

-Additional Weekday and Weekend Training Modules will be added once all teams are set
Quarter 2 Training
Oct through Dec

-Indoor Weekend only practices start in November (this may vary due to weather)
-Pitching and Catching Practices
-Strength and Conditioning for HS Players

Quarter 3 Training

Quarter 4 In-Season Training

-Weekend Practices when schedule allows**
**In-season, teams playing on weekends may only have one practice during a tournament week. A lack of field availability can also reduce outdoor practice times, especially from April through June. We make every effort to secure fields in a timely manner; however, we may be limited by several factors that are beyond our control. Your flexibility and understanding during this stretch are appreciated.
-Pitchers and Catchers stop extra training when the season begins to reduce the throwing load for those players.
Practice Attendance
We encourage players to participate as much as they can. We understand life happens, and the ability to make every practice may not be an option.
This year, attendance will be taken for every practice.
Play Time
Playtime is never guaranteed. It is earned from hard work, skill, positive attitude, and commitment. Coaches have the discretion to adjust playtime as they see fit.
We use the 24-hour cool-down rule for all playtime issues.
Local Tournaments
Expect play to start in March and run to July.
The full tournament schedule should be available by November 2025
Travel Tournaments
AZ Various Age Groups and Selected Teams (Optional)
March 19-22, 2026
Phoenix/SE Valley, Arizona
This is an OPTIONAL TOURNAMENT
Tournament Fee is $900 to $1200 per team. This will NOT be covered in the regular tournament dues. We will split the cost by the total roster.
This is a “Stay to Play” Tournament. The hotel buy-out last year was $500 per team. If we do not buy out, we are forced to stay at select hotels.
Marucci World Series - Selected 14u and up players only
Mid to End July 2026

Holidays Schedule
Winter Break will be Dec 22 to Jan 4th, 2026.
No practice on Major holidays unless otherwise noted.
Uniforms
Uniform costs are not included in dues.
The cost of this season will run between $200 and $400, depending on the age group.
Costs are subject to change based on market conditions.
Store will open in July 2025
Logo Usage
The use of Marucci Logos and Tacoma Select Logos is prohibited without permission.
Communications
GroupMe Team Boards will be one-directional, so information does not get pushed down from commenting. Team Communications can open boards up during tournaments to allow for the passing of information.
Direct Messaging is still allowed in GroupMe.
Gamechanger will be used more for Practice Schedules.
Other technologies may be implemented during the season.
Additional Training For Coaches
Volunteer Coaches will undergo additional training and be required to complete a certification course provided by Marucci
Additional Coaching Staff
Next season, we will be looking to add additional coaching staff, along with a full-time hitting instructor. This is dependent on our 2025-26 operation budget
League Play
If league play is available next season, coaches and trainers will make a participation decision based on:

-Player Readiness
-Schedule Feasibility
-Cost
League play is never guaranteed.
Online Training will be available in Sept at an added cost
Online training with the main Marucci trainers will be available in September at an additional cost.
Marucci Trainers will fly in August for assessments and go over the online program.
Cost is TBD.
